Sino Land’s Sha Kok Mei development is expected to be similar in style to Mayfair on the Sea fronting Tolo Harbour

About 630 new apartments in Sai Kung will go on sale shortly, Sino Land says in its just-released annual report.

The biggest project is at Sha Kok Mei near the stadium.  This will have 290 units with gross floor area of 250,000 sq ft. Sino describes this as “low-density project with resort living experience.” The plans have not been revealed.  Nevertheless, the developer’s project, Mayfair on the Sea, at Pak Shek Kok facing Tolo Harbour, is a good indicator of what is destined for the centre of our town.

Sino’s second largest Sai Kung development is at Sai Kung Tuk, near the Fire Station. It will slightly smaller than Sha Kok Mei with 280 apartments totaling gross floor area of 170,000 sq ft.

The third project is at Tui Min Hoi. This will have about 60 units with gfa of 50,000sf and is described as “a collection of ocean-view apartments and houses”.

The annual report for the year ended June said net profit attributable to shareholders totaled $9,371 million.
