Sai Kung’s first art fair has been staged at three open-air locations. District Officer Maureen Siu said she hoped it will be a regular event.More than 50 artists displayed and demonstrated their work at canopied booths in Temple Square, Mei Yuen Street and Promenade Park.
The painters, photographers and mixed media artists were a mixture of locals and characters from the cities. Their enthusiasm was infectious, while some of the talent was outstanding.
Maureen said the art fair was a joint effort by the District Office, Council and Community Centre along with various art groups.
