The 3rd meeting of the Sai Kung District Council will take place on 2 May 2017 (Tuesday) at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Sai Kung District Council, 3/F, Sai Kung Tseung Kwan O Government Complex, 38 Pui Shing Road, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O.

The agenda has been published as have most of the meeting discussion papers. There seems to be little of direct interest to Sai Kung/Clearwater Bay residents from what is made public. It seems that fire ants, wild pigs, the new MTR line infrastructure as well as the new bridge and express-way to Kowloon are on councillors mind, as is the laying of noise reducing asphalt along the main roads. Take a peak at the discussion papers on-line and you’ll get some idea of what takes up their time. And of course, how to spend the $500,000 allocated for the 20th handover celebrations for the area.

  1. Sai Kung DC secretariat said they lacked human resources for translating the minutes and documents in English version for my non-Chinese speaking neighbors. 😡
