As Narelle Pamuk pulls off her monthly miracle managing somehow to fund the housing and needs of 100-plus dogs, she becomes ever more imaginative. Now she’s planning BOLLYWOOF, a fund-raising curry lunch. Narelle’s monthly cost of looking after so many dogs at her shelter high in the hills of Ho Chung totals about $150,000, she tells us.
If you would like to support Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation turn up at a Tandoori Nights luncheon in Tsimshatsui on Sunday 25 March. The cost is $350 per person, which means you can raid the Indian curry buffet as often as you like. Much of the money goes to support the dogs.
