It seems that more UFO sightings are made in Sai Kung than anywhere else in Hong Kong.
The Commerce and Economic Development Bureau responded to a question from the Special Finance Committee in response to a written question from the Honourable Chan Chi-chuen. From 2013 to 2017, the Hong Kong Observatory received a total of 89 reported UFO sightings by the public. In 2017 there were 14 cases, 19 in 2016, 10 in 2015, 21 in 2014 and 25 in 2013.
Although there were reported sightings from all across Hong Kong,  the largest number of reports over this period was from Sai Kung – approximately 10% of all sightings.
The highest number of reports of UFOs is between 6:00 – 8:00 pm, followed by 4 :00 – 6:00 pm.
