Update on planned protests – 5 September

 
dw-hk-protest-song-190617Here is this week’s update on planned protests in Hong Kong. Not all of these may take place, but those for the next seven days are fairly certain. Also, owing to the fluid nature of the protests, some other events may happen at short notice that are not included here.

6 September: 7:00 pm – 12:00 noon. MTR Super Cooperation Movement. Lai King, Kowloon Tong, North Point MTR stations.

7 September: 1:00 pm – midnight. Airport Transportation Stress Test. HKIA

8 September: 2:00 pm. HK Human Rights and Democracy Act Assembly. Edinburgh Place to US Consulate General.

9 September: 7:30 – 10:30 pm. North District Concert and Sharing Session. Sheung Shui Choi Yuen Estate Theatre.

13 September: 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Lion Rock Way to celebrate mid-autumn. Hiking to the Lion Rock from different entrances such as Tai Wai, Lok Fu, Wong Tai Sin etc.

14 September: 1:00 pm – midnight. Airport Transportation Stress Test. HKIA

14 September: 2:30 pm. Tin Shui Wai Family Fun Tour. Tin Sau Road Park to Tin Shui Wai MTR Station.

14 September: 4:00 – 9;00 pm. Assembly of fairy lights – The Fireflies of Bauhinia Secondary Students Assembly. Temple Mall, Chuk On.

16 September: 12:00 noon. Non-cooperation movement at Revenue Tower. Wanchai Revenue Tower.

21 September: 7:00 – 11:00 pm. Sit-in against Yeun Long terrorist attack. Yeun Long MTR station.

Note: Student strikes at secondary and tertiary education institutions are planned to start on Monday 2 September and continue for two weeks.
