Yesterday (26/7) afternoon, around 3:00 pm, a truck delivering groceries and other daily necessities, crashed and overturned on a bend while turning left along Clear Water Bay Road into Sheung Sze Wan Road. Two people on board the truck were trapped inside.
Emergency services arrived at the scene, but the two refused to be sent to the hospital after inspection by ambulance crew. Because the truck was lying across the only road in the village, some villagers were blocked from entering and exiting; some people had to walk up and down the slope to leave the village.
The police removed the truck and are investigating the cause of the traffic accident.
