Sai Kung Central Lee Siu Yam Memorial School
At around 9 am today (14/5), a female teacher at Sai Kung Central Lee Siu Yam Memorial School fell from the rooftop on the 8th floor of the school and landed near the basketball court in the playground. Paramedics arrived at the scene and sent the victim to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for emergency treatment, but unfortunately she later died. The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
Sources identified the victim as an English teacher. Following the incident, the school administration issued an announcement suspending all English-related activities for the day and requiring students to remain indoors during recess.
UPDATE 15/5: Police confirm that the death was suicide.
