“Scots ha hae”: Burns Night is a-coming at Victoria Recreation Club

“The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men gang aft agley.”

Everyone who’s a fan of Scotland, enjoys the poems of Robbie Burns and likes a wee drinkie is invited to the Victoria Recreation Club, Emerald Bay, on 23 January. It will be Burns Night “celebrating the life and legacy of The Scottish Bard featuring a four-course meal, speeches (there’s the rub) songs and Ceilidh dances.” If you want to go, you better be quick: reservation required by 17 January.

Dress code is black tie or Highland dress. If you’re a non-member, it’ll cost you $888. The revelry kicks off with Highland dancing at 6pm. See here for further details
