Wheelchair rugby in Man Yee Square, Sai Kung

Rod Holt and Wheelchair Rugby rolled into town for a demo at the basketball court in Man Yee Square on Sunday. Two of the four International teams competing at the Kai Tak Arena on Tuesday 14 April and Wednesday 15 April – The Welsh and the Indonesians – put on a skilled display and invited young spectators to have a go.

Kay Rawbone of Sailability HK invited them to come for a spot of sailing at HHYC before they return home. The teams adjourned for refreshment at Restaurant 28 courtesy of Chris Skinner before retuning to their Kowloon hotel, there to join the Australian and Singapore Teams.

Photos show competition between the teams, the Welsh Team and the Indonesian Team (with local supporter Lynn) and a couple of young try-outs (using the wrong shape of ball), and the after-match at 28.
