Charity quest to conclude in Sai Kung with carnival games on Saturday

The six-week charity quest organised by Pets Central concludes this Saturday, October 10, in Sai Kung. Carnival games, food stalls and a dunk tank will be in action from 11am to 7pm at the company’s pet hospital in Yi Chun St.

For the previous four weekends contestants have been taking part in Instagram-based games all over Hong Kong. They had to take hash-tagged selfies with, for example, a flamingo, fountain, gibbon, Court of Final Appeal, Noon-day Gun, Lovers’ Rock, Shek O Beach and so on.

The person who completed the most tasks and collected the most points will be declared winner on Saturday in Sai Kung.  She or he will have won a holiday for two on the island of Palawan, PI.

Pets Central has a chain of four animal hospitals and clinics plus two mobile clinics.  It was founded by American entrepreneur and author Peter de Krassel and is headed by Dr Pauline Taylor, a former Executive Director of the SPCA. Sai Kung’s Dr Mike Muir is a director.
