Sai Kung LIVE! are planning another live music evening at S2 Seafood & Wine Restaurant on the seafront for 1 July 2017. This is the second evening they have arranged; the first, on 3 June, attracted a lively crowd, and was a great success.
This time around the two bands appearing are The Young Bucks at 8:00 pm, followed by The Pineapple Jam at 9:45 pm.
The Young Bucks (Ma is on holidays) are a couple of rowdy Canadians and a mellow Chicagoan that come together to recreate folk-rock faves, funky pop tunes, and some classic rock and country that gets everyone singing, dancing, clapping, toe-tapping, and always shouting for more.
The members of Pineapple Jam hail from Sai Kung. This five piece acoustic band blends thoughtful instrument arrangements (guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo) with lush vocal harmonies. The result is a brand of alternative folk bluegrass that guarantees a smile. Worth noting their collective interests include rowdy bars and beers.
