Club Marina Cove reports three sales at its Hong Kong International Boat Show at the beginning of December. The boats sold were a Jeanneau 54 and a Merry Fisher 795 from France plus a Quicksilver from the USA.
A club spokesman said many of the models were on show for the first time in Hong Kong and some even in Asia. The event was the club’s 23rd.
The toys on display included a $105 million Monte Carlo 105 from Italy, Azimut Grande 27 Metri, which was an award winner at World Yacht Trophies 2017, Ferreti Yacht 850, Galeon 500 Fly, voted European powerboat of 2016, and an Absolute 58 Fly from Italy, plus many other models from international boat builders. Local watersports suppliers displayed their kayaks, outboard motors and various marine products and services.

It was an attractive show with lots to do and ogle, but awareness was low because of limited advance promotion.
