Burst water main closes part of the road at Pak Shek Wo San affecting access from Clearwater Bay Road

At about 8:30 am this morning a water main pipe burst near Pak Shek Wo San Tsuen, close to Clearwater Bay Road and washed away a large section of the embankment and some of the road itself.  The emergency services cordoned off the area affected which caused some delay.

However, due to the impact of the collapsing bank, a public light bus stop and footpath at the village entrance need to be closed. The authorities are carrying out repairs.
