More than $400,000 in valuables lost in a burglary at Hilltop Villa, Clearwater Bay house

A burglary occurred in Clearwater Bay, Sai Kung around 11:00 pm last night (30/5). When a 75-year-old woman returned to her residence at Hilltop Villa, 8 Kam Shue Rd. she found multiple footprints in the house. The place had signs of being ransacked and the window of the room had been pried open, so she called the police.

Police arrived at the scene, and after a preliminary count, it was estimated that the owner had lost 12 watches with a total value of HK$400,000 and about HK$5,000 in cash. The case was classified as “burglary” and handed over to the 4th Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of the Tseung Kwan O Police District for follow-up.

It is understood that the 12 gold watches are Rolex.
