Two accidents slow traffic on a busy Friday

Two traffic accidents occurred yesterday afternoon, one near Sha Kok Mei, the other on Sai Sha Road near Sai Keng around 4.30 pm.

Three people were injured around noon yesterday when a taxi driving along Tai Mong Tsai Road towards Sai Sha Road was in collision with an HKT technician’s car which was turning right into Sha Kok Mei Road. The fronts of the two vehicles was damaged, and three passengers (42 to 75 years old) in the taxi suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance. The road was blocked for around 30 minutes. police are investigating the cause of the accident.

The other accident happened near when a Gogovan collided with another minivan around 4.30 pm near Sai Teng. It took two tow trucks to move the minivans. Traffic was disrupted by around an hour. Again, police are investigating. No one was seriously injured.
