Around 2:00 pm this afternoon (21 February) the resident at a house in Portofino, Clearwater Bay, arrived back home to find the windows showing signs of damage, and suspected that they were the victims of a burglary.
After police arrived at the scene, they deduced that the burglars forced entry to the house last night by prying open the window and climbing into the house.
The householder and the police are still assessing what was stolen.
