Electric mobility devices: Fool endangers himself and others; comparable idiocy seen almost daily

After this idiot was filmed riding an e-skateboard on a road in traffic, the Hong Kong police has warned on Twitter he risks being charged with riding an unregistered and unlicensed vehicle. This can lead to a sentence of $5000 fine and three months in jail. The fool was endangering himself and others, said the police, although they didn’t use the word fool. We bet they thought it. Such behaviour is Darwinian. The eejit will kill himself off before he can produce kids as dumb as he is.

It is common now to see youngsters and men — they’re all male — riding one-wheel e-scooters and e-skateboards and other mobility devices on pavements and through Sai Kung’s public places at speed, clearly endangering others who may not see them coming until it is too late.
