Burglars steal around $100,000 of cash and property from Tin Shek Road villa

A burglary occurred in Sai Kung early this morning (20/11). Around 2:00 a.m. police received a report from a 67-year-old female resident, alleging that there were traces of looting at 38A Tin Shek Road, Sai Kung and that they suspected they had been burgled. 

Officers arrived at the scene, and after preliminary calculations, an envelope containing about $35,000 in cash, about $50,000 loose cash, about $13,000 jewellery, a pen worth about $10,000, and a backpack were missing. A total of more than $100,000 was lost. 

After preliminary investigation, the case was classified as a burglary. The fourth team of the Wong Tai Sin Police District Criminal Investigation Team is following up. No one has been arrested yet.
