Nine bullet casings found on hillside of Lui Ta Shek mountain, Sai Kung

Yesterday lunchtime (8/10) police received a report from a hiker that a batch of bullet casings had been found on the hillside of the third section of the MacLehose Trail in the Sai Kung Country Park West near Thunderstruck Rock (Lui Ta Shek Shan). The police arrived at the scene after a preliminary investigation and found nine bullet casings.

The officers seized the batch of bullet casings and took them away for further testing. The case was listed for police investigation, and was handed over to the Second Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of Wong Tai Sin Police District for follow-up. No one was injured in the incident.
