Fire on sailing boat in Hebe Haven, Sai Kung is suspected to be related to fireworks

Early this morning (22/1), around 1:00 am, a 12-metre-long sailing boat suddenly caught fire at the Hebe Haven Yacht Club. The fire department sent a small boat to the scene for rescue.

No one was injured in the incident. It is understood that the firefighters found seven groups of burned fireworks on board. It is not ruled out that the fireworks caused the fire.
