Motorcyclist loses control in Sai Kung and collides with car; is hospitalised

Early this morning (21/1) around 6:00 am, a 37-year-old motorcyclist was driving a motorcycle along Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung near Tai Wan village. The cyclist lost control and collided head-on with an oncoming car. The motorcyclist was thrown to the ground and the front of the private car was severely damaged with debris scattered all over the road.

Ambulancemen arrived at the scene and the motorcyclist, still conscious, was sent to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
