At around 10:00 pm Thursday night (20/4) a domestic helper in a detached house in Royal Castle, 23 Pik Sha Road, Clear Water Bay, Sai Kung, heard a strange noise in the house. After checking, they found two suspicious men trying to sneaked in and attempt a burglary. They immediately raised the alarm and the two fled when they saw that the incident had been sighted.

The two thieves fled along the mountain side behind the property. The police arrived after receiving a report, and at once searched the neighbourhood but found no trace of the thieves. After investigation, they found that the doors and windows of the detached house had been pried open. Fortunately, the household did not suffer any losses. The police checked the closed-circuit TV and found two men about 1.7 metres tall and wearing black shirts. They classified the case as an attempted burglary and are following-up the incident.
