A traffic accident occurred in Sai Kung around 7:00 pm last night (26/4)when the driver of a private car lost control and hit the kerb near Marina Cove travelling towards Sai Kung. The driver called the police for help.
Emergency services arrived after receiving the report and confirmed that there was no danger from the incident. Two passengers reported chest pain and were treated on the spot and then sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital by ambulance.
From the pictures taken at the scene and posted to Facebook, it can be seen that the front of the private car was damaged and the front bumper was loose.
A one-lane two-way traffic arrangement was implemented on Hiram’s Highway near Marina Cove due to the accident which caused traffic congestion for about an hour.
