‘Ain’t we got fun’: Forbes says the rich are now worth US$16.1 trillion

Forbes billionaires list currently shows the world has 3028 people worth more than US$1 billion. They’re self-made entrepreneurs and investors plus many who were just born lucky. The US has 902 billionaires, China including Hong Kong 516 and India 205. As usual the rich get richer — now they are worth in total US$16.1 trillion, up $2 trillion since last year. Topping the billionaires list is Elon Musk with $342 billion, Mark Zuckerberg $216 billion and Jeff Bezos $215 billion. To find someone from Hong Kong, you have to scroll down to No.40: Li Ka-shing.

Here are the top 10 Chinese men in order of wealth on the Forbes list with the source of their money:
