Two hospitalised after car crashed into kerb near Dock 1A, Sai Kung

This morning (13/9) around 9:50 am a car being driven along Tsui Tong Road in Sai Kung crashed into the roadside kerb. The 49-year-old male driver suffered injuries to his hands and waist, while the 40-year-old female passenger sustained injuries to her neck, chest, and forehead. Rescue workers arrived at the scene and transported both to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment. Police investigations confirmed that an area of ​​4 meres by 1 metre of the kerb was damaged.

It is believed that the driver was looking for a place to park when he turned left and drove onto the kerb. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
