Pottery charity event raises $20,000 for Food Angels

The charity event at The Picture House, Sai Kung, in aid of Food Angels raised $10,000 with another $10,000 in matching donation from Yellow Pear Co., The event, held on 10 November, was organised by Empty Bowls, an international initiative to fight hunger. Potters, artists, and community members come together to make handcrafted bowls which they donate to a one evening event.

Bowl donors/artists for November’s event were: Twiga Pottery, Sunkissed Blue Ceramics, Studio Sewon, Stef of _cloud_ville_, Tianseed, yyasmineliar, Ramila Rai, and Yellow Pear Co. Food and venue were donated by The Picture House, Sai Kung.
