Six illegal mainland immigrants caught off Conic Island

At about 12:00 noon yesterday, Marine Police noted a suspicious boat in areas around Conic Island, off Long Ke Wan. They investigated and found that there were six illegal immigrants from the Mainland on board the vessel.
Police arrested the six male illegal immigrants and returned to Marine Police Base. A 48-year-old man who was reportedly injured in the waist was taken to hospital for treatment. All others were detained for inquiries.
