The transport department has announced a number road closures around Clearwater Bay to take account of the expected crowds for the Tin Hau Festival this week.There will also be a special ferry service between North Point and Joss House Bay.
The following special traffic arrangements will be implemented from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on 5 and 6 May 2018, and from 9:00 am on 7 May 2018 to 5:00 pm on 8 May 2018:
(i) The section of Tai Au Mun Road from a point about 75 metres north of its junction with Po Toi O Chuen Road to a point about 100 metres south of the same junction will be temporarily designated a prohibited zone, except for access to Po Toi O Chuen, Tin Hau Temple and the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club;
(ii) The private car parking spaces on Tai Au Mun Road outside Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club will be temporarily suspended; and
(iii) The private car parking spaces, motorcycle parking spaces and coach parking space on Tai Au Mun Road near Po Toi O Chuen Road will be temporarily suspended.
Appropriate traffic aids will be provided, and police officers will be on site to guide motorists.
There will also be changes to Green Minibus Route No. 16. Special short-working trips Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club and Clearwater Bay Second Beach Carpark will operate on the dates and time specified below:
7 May 2018, 7:00 am to 11:59 pm $5.2/$6.8*
8 May 2018, 12:00 midnight to 5:00 pm $5.2/$6.8*
* Fare applicable to departures after 9.30 pm on 7 May 2018 and before 6.00 am on 8 May 2018
There will also be special ferry services provided by New World First Ferry between North Point and Joss House Bay on 7 and 8 May 2018. Details of the ferry service are as follows:

2:15 am to 8:15 am on 8 May 2018, every two hours
9:15 am to 4:15 pm on 8 May 2018, every hour
