Everyone is invited to a free “lovefeast” at Resurrection Church on 22 September, according to Chris Hanselman, a church committee member. From that date Resurrection will introduce “Agape Experience” on the fourth Saturday of every month. Agape is a millennia-old Greco-Christian term referring to “the highest form of love, charity”. From 6:00 to 7:00 pm there will be worship then churchgoers and anyone who turns up will gather for free food and fellowship.
“We want to encourage all those who want to make new friends and take some time out from the hectic pace of Hong Kong life, to enjoy worship, hear inspiring stories and consume free tasty food,” Chris said. “Come and join us. We’d love to see you there.”
