Oil spill sighted at Silverstrand Beach

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (28/5) that because of an oil spill, Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District has been closed until further notice. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at the beach.

The red flag was hoisted earlier at the beach due to big waves.
