Acting Commander of the Sai Kung police station Jacky Chan has been on a public relations offensive. With officers of the Rural Patrol Unit, he hosted a press conference at the station for reporters from eight local media, including Oriental Daily, Apple Daily, Economic Daily, Sing Tao, Sing Pao and HK01.
Jacky, who is now an Acting Chief Inspector, briefed the journalists on Sai Kung crime statistics and trends, the need for residents to take precautions in the high burglary season, the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and the work of the Rural Patrol Unit.
