A teacher at a Sai Kung school has been charged with eight counts of indecent assault. Mak Lung-yee, 56, is said to be a Primary Section “discipline master” of Sai Kung Sung Tsun Catholic School on the hill above the Sacred Heart Church.
Mak is due to appear in Kwun Tong Magistry on 11 December. Detectives of the Wong Tai Sin regional headquarters responded to complaints from five former pupils about indecent assaults that took place around 30 years ago.
They arrested Mak in March and charged him with eight counts in May. He was suspended from the school.
Sai Kung Sung Tsun Catholic school is co-ed and is a sister institution of the Sacred Heart Church, headed by 82-year-old priest Carlo Tei.
