The area around Tai Au Mun in Clear Water Bay Country Park is very popular with kite flyers. However, over the past few weekends the amount of garbage left behind has become a source of outrage on local internet forums, with many netizens asking AFCD to rigorously implement the “Take your Litter Home” policy in the area.
According to one netizen Tai Au Mun mountain area was covered with abandoned paper material as well as lengths of line and wire reels. Some commented that some of the items seemed to have logos on the paper and suspected they may come from tour groups or other community activities.
