Here is this week’s update on planned protests in Hong Kong. Not all of these may take place, but those for the next seven days are fairly certain. Also, owing to the fluid nature of the protests, some other events may happen at short notice that are not included here.

Planned activities seem to be getting less frequent, but spontaneous protests, usually restricted to smaller geographic areas, seem to be increasing. We are not informed of these days in advance.

26 September onwards: 1:00 – 7:00 pm. “The Art of Resistance” Exhibition. Kong Art Space, G/F, 3 Staunton St, Central, Hong Kong

3 October: 8:00 – 10:0 pm Liberate Pioneer Centre. Pioneer Centre, Prince Edward, Hong Kong.

7 October: 7:00 – 8:00 pm. Chung Yeung Festival Memorial Ceremony. Prince Edward MTR Station.

Note: The student strikes/demonstrations at secondary and tertiary education institutions which started on Monday 2 September will continue, as will other continuing actions by various groups which we have not highlighted here.
