Man dies in accident at Wong Shek

The body of a 58-year-old man, reported missing by his family yesterday, was found by a passer-by this morning on a footpath near Wong Shek Pier.
Around 8:15 am this morning (13/2), a passer-by found a man unconscious on the footpath near Wong Shek Pier and called the police. Emergency services rushed to the scene and confirmed that the man was dead. Police later arrived at the scene to cover the victim’s body with a tent.

Although the cause of the incident is yet to be investigated, police do not rule out that he was injured and died during a hiking accident.
