In the early hours of this morning a yellow Ferrari sports car parked at a bus stop Hirams Highway near Marina Cove, Sai Kung suddenly began to emit smoke and then the rear of the car burst into flames. The driver managed to escape and called the fire brigade.
Fire Services quickly arrived and used chemical foam to extinguish the fire. After preliminary investigation, it is suspected that the fire was caused by a malfunction in the car. The rear of the car was seriously burned, and the police are trying to contact the owner to assist in the investigation.
According to the registration information of the Transport Department, the Ferrari sports car in question was shipped in 2011 and is owned by a company. The price of this model for that year was about $4.44 million
