Yet another crash on Clear Water Bay Road owing to speeding – this time a Lamborghini Gallardo. On Tuesday night (21/7), around 8:00 pm, a woman was driving a black Lamborghini Gallardo sports car along Clear Water Bay Road towards Sai Kung. When approaching the intersection of Ka Shue Road, she reportedly dodged road debris and lost control and slid.
The Lamborghini then barrelled in to the separation zone in the middle of the dual lane highway, hit the traffic sign before stopping. The body and front of the car were seriously damaged. The 34-year-old driver suffered minor injuries to her head but refused to be sent to hospital.
The police are investigating the incident. The police classified the case as a traffic accident with no injuries. Eye witnesses quoted on social media said that the car was exceeding the speed limit along that section.
