There were two drowning incidents in Sai Kung over the past two days.
Testerday (30/6) a 69-year-old man was found floating in the sea near the The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course’s Public Car Park at 9:00 am. He was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in a coma but did not recover and died at 10:53 am. It is not suspected to be suspicious, and the cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
This morning at 11:00 am a woman swimming at Trio Beach, Sai Kung was also found floating in the sea by other swimmers. She was also taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in a coma. Her current condition is not yet known.
