Unidentified male body found floating off Po Pin Chau

Yesterday afternoon (10/11) the crew of a boat passing near Po Pin Chau, Sai Kung, saw something floating in the water. They called the marine police who, along with a fireboat, pulled the corpse of a man from the water.

The police found no suicide note on the deceased, nor any identification documents. The body was transferred to the mortuary, pending an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The police said that the deceased was about 40 to 50 years old, about 1.8 metres tall and of medium build. The police urged anyone who could provide information on the incident to contact investigators at 3661 6000.
