A fire broke out in a village house in Tin Liu Village on Ho Chung Road in Sai Kung, killing four cats and two dogs. The incident occurred at about 4:00 pm today (29/5) when a 35-year-old woman reported that the wiring to an air-conditioner in her village house had short-circuited and caught fire.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to put out the fire, but sadly, six pets in the house died in the conflagration, four cats and two dogs. No person was injured in the incident. After the firefighters had investigated the incident, they believed that there was no suspicious cause of the fire. The two women members of the household became emotional after learning of the bad news, and are being comforted by neighbours. and friends
