Recent traffic notices from Highways Department

^{Po Tung Road roundabout bicycle parking spaces}

Highways Department have issued a number of new traffic notices recently:

a) Extension of Temporary Suspension of Parking Spaces for Good Vehicles on Hiram’s Highway near Pak Wai, Sai Kung

Motorists are advised that to facilitate drainage works, 2 metered parking spaces for good vehicles (nos. 28219AB) and 2 non-metered parking spaces for good vehicles on Hiram’s Highway near Pak Wai will continue to be temporarily suspended from 10.00 am on 24 July 2021 to 10.00 am on 31 July 2021.

b) Suspension of Bicycle Parking Spaces in Sai Kung

Members of the public are advised that in order to facilitate a joint-departmental clearance operation, the bicycle parking spaces at Po Tung Road Roundabout, Sai Kung will be suspended from 8:00 am on 26 July 2021 to 4:00 pm on 29 July 2021.

All articles, including bicycles, left in the bicycle parking spaces within the above period will be removed.  Advance notices will be put up in the concerned bicycle parking spaces to remind the public to take away all their articles from the bicycle parking spaces before the suspension period.

c) Temporary Relocation of Bus Stops and GMB Stands on Hiram’s Highway at Nam Pin Wai Roundabout, Sai Kung

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road improvement works on Hiram’s Highway, the existing bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 92, 96R, NWFB Route No. 792M and GMB stands of N.T. GMB Route Nos. 1, 1A, 1S and 101M (Sai Kung bound) on Hiram’s Highway at Nam Pin Wai Roundabout will be temporarily relocated about 50 metres southwards from 10.00 am on 26 July 2021 to 4.00 pm on 31 October 2021.

The public transport operators concerned will display notices to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
