Six illegal immigrants caught in police clampdown at Sai Kung roundabout

After the recent gang fight in Sai Kung, the police stepped up patrols in the area and have intercepted suspicious vehicles. This morning (17/1), one patrol was passing by the bus stop at Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung, near the Mak Ping roundabout, when they saw a black seven-passenger vehicle being driven in a suspicious manner.

They stopped the van and, after checking, found that the six passengers on board with no identification documents. They were suspected of illegal entry. Also, the seven-passenger car seems to have had a fake license plate, and was also detained. Police arrested six illegal immigrants and the driver.
