Salve Bradbeer, Manager of the Hive, Sai Kung
Inside the former factory building opposite Sai Kung police station there’s a little oasis of civilisation. It is called The Hive. Smiling Manager Salve Bradbeer gave SAI KUNG BUZZ a tour of the cosily decorated, coffee-wafting co-working space. “A lot of different characters work here doing unusual things. It is a hub where people can come to network.” Salve has worked at The Hive for three years and been promoted to Senior Manager.

Co-working space includes hot-desks
The Hive is available to anyone who wants to host an arts exhibition, a stand-up comedy night or turn on a performance by the likes of Sai Kung Singers, Salve said. Basically, you can hire The Hive for almost anything. Visit the co-working place and you’ll meet interesting people.

Members have their own coffee bar/snack area
Examples:
Anita Vogel of CÓCOES, which works for Lionheart Farms, a coconut plantation in the Philippines and produces their own brands so consumers can buy directly from the farm: coconut-based condiments and beverages. Visit The Hive and you can buy these healthy, delicious products. Anita hires a dedicated office from which she runs her business.

The Hive hosts movie evenings, stand-up comedy shows and other private events
