Sai Kung post office to close for three days owing to Covid

Hongkong Post said that several post offices will be closed from tomorrow until Tuesday or Wednesday due to a preliminary diagnosis of the new coronavirus by postal staff.

Among them, the Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the PO Box Lobby will reopen on Tuesday. The Kowloon Central Post Office is closed from Monday to Wednesday, and the PO Box Lobby reopens on Tuesday.

Post offices that are closed from Monday to Wednesday include Sai Ying Pun Post Office, Kowloon City Post Office, Mong Kok Post Office, Sai Kung Post Office, Tin Yiu Post Office, Yeung Uk Road Post Office and Mui Wo Post Office.

Hongkong Post stated that all relevant postal personnel have been tested for the virus, and the relevant facilities and mail have been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. The temperature of the relevant personnel has been checked during work, and the body temperature is normal, and they have been wearing masks at work.
