Authors of fiction, non-fiction and poetry to perform on YouTube for Proverse Publishing’s Spring Reception

The spring reception of Proverse Publishing will go virtual this year, because of Covid restrictions, the leading publishing house announced. It is on 28 April beginning from 7:00 to 7:30pm and you will find it on YouTube lasting around two hours. During the event finalists for the Proverse Prize for Fiction, Non-fiction and Poetry will introduce their work.

The following writers will appear on YouTube to inform and entertain you: Melody Kemp, who wrote “Tree Crime”; Alicia Lie, author of “Reading the Qur’an”; poets who have contributed to “Mingled Voices 6: International Proverse Poetry Prize Anthology 2021”;  and Rudolph M’s translation into Chinese of “The Golden Needle: the Biography of Frederick Stewart (1836 – 1889) by Gillian Bickley.

An update on the Proverse Prize and its background will be given by Dr Verner Bickley during the show, while Dr Gillian Bickley will act as MC.

On the YouTube site you will be able to leave comments on what you think of the works and their authors. Proverse principals will read them later and in some cases respond.
