A car caught fire on Sai Sha Road, Sai Kung yesterday afternoon (14/8) causing traffic chaos on a busy Sunday afternoon.
A private car was driving past the garbage station at the entrance of Tai Tung Village around 2:00 pm when the front of the car suddenly emitted dark smoke. The driver jumped out of the car, and soon, the front of the car caught fire with heavy black smoke shooting into the air.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and immediately used their hoses to put out the fire. No one was injured in the fire, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
