The Classic Car Show at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club on 1 December will be the biggest and best so far, according to Peter Downie, General Manager and Director of Golf. Mr Downie does not exaggerate.

This year there will be 150 cars sparkling in the sun on the par-3 Academy Golf Course, above the sea at the picturesque Country Club. The public are invited as this is a rare opportunity for non-members to visit the exclusive club. Opening hours for the public will be 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the event day.
This year the theme of the show is Cars For Good. While appreciating the stunning showcase of over a hundred cars, visitors can also contribute to a good cause on the event day as there will be a few charity sale booths operated by local charities, including The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club Charitable Foundation. Visitors can buy delicacies crafted specifically for the event on-site by More Good, an NGO that provides high-quality meals to those in need. The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club hopes to leverage the influence of car clubs and car enthusiasts to maximise the impact of giving back to the community.
The cars on display will be over 20 years old; and visitors will expect to see classic Ferraris, Roll-Royces, MGs, Volkswagens, Porsches and Jaguars, even an E-type with their proud owners. Some of these cars are worth millions. The Classic Car Club of Hong Kong points out that one rather special vehicle sold for HK$100,000,000 and will be among this incredible list of exhibits.
