UPDATE: LCSD announce that the reclosed centre will become an isolation site for those suspected of being in contact with monkeypox positive contacts. It will have 100 beds.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (12/9) that Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre (the Centre) will be temporarily closed for anti-epidemic purposes from tomorrow (13/9) until further notice.

For refund arrangements in relation to venue closure, campers may submit a completed refund application form together with the original camp fee receipt to the Centre in person or by post. The refund application form can be downloaded from www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/aboutlcsd/forms/refund.html.

The Centre only reopened on 25 August after being closed for more than two years owing to its use as a Covid Quarantine camp.
