Three people injured and sent to hospital after crash between taxi and P-plated car

A car accident occurred on Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung around midnight last night (31/5) when a private car with a P-plate was driving along Clear Water Bay Road towards Tai Au Mun. When it reached the junction of Pan Ling Wan Road, a taxi suddenly pulled out and the two vehicles collided with each other.

The fronts of both cars were damaged, and the air bags activated. The male driver and female passenger of the private car, as well as the taxi driver, were injured.

The female passenger was trapped in the car and had to be rescued by emergency services. All three were sent to hospital by ambulance. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
